you could always buy a soft case, a tin pen stand, Moleskine notebook, collector’s box or an elegant folder of paper to match the beauty of your new writing implement. To complete a beautiful gift, other accessories are also available: cuff links and billfolds, and wooden blotters (to dry the ink without leaving unsightly stains).
What can we say?
It’s all in the family, and has been for three generations. The current Mr Akkerman has a book on the subject behind the counter. The store is a real treasure, of the kind steadily becoming more of a rarity in the Netherlands. But not in the Arcade.
